Terms and Conditions
- Although every effort is made by Costa de la Luz Ltd to verify information given on the website and promotional material, it must be clearly understood that such information does not form part of any contract or offer. Any intending purchaser of a property must satisfy themselves as to the correctness of any information either printed or verbally issued by Costa de la Luz Ltd, it's agents, associates or employees
- Costa de la Luz Ltd makes every effort to keep up to date the information stated on the website and other promotional material, but the company cannot guarantee that particular properties will still be available for sale when prospective purchasers travel to Spain to view. Vendors may increase or decrease the price of properties and no guarantee is given that the prices shown on the Costa de la Luz Ltd and promotional material will remain accurate.
- Costa de la Luz Ltd does not accept any liability to interested purchasers resulting from their inability to view properties in which they may be interested due to the fact that the properties may no longer be available for sale, or due to revision of purchase prices, or due to unforeseen circumstances
- Costa de la Luz Ltd operates as an introducing agent to assist interested persons in finding and purchasing properties in Spain. A fee of 1.5% of the value of the property will be paid by the purchaser to Costa de la Luz Ltd on completion of a sale. This fee would normally fall within the 10% average cost of purchasing a property in Spain
- Land, property and room sizes given on the Costa de la Luz Ltd website and other promotional material are subject to survey. It remains the responsibility of the purchasers to satisfy themselves as to the correctness of such information
- All contracts for transport by rail, sea, air or on land, for accommodation, board and lodging, for legal and estate agency services, or for any other associated services shall be deemed to be contracts between the person/s travelling and the service provider. Costa de la Luz Ltd shall not be liable for any claims, loss, liabilities or judgements arising out of such contracts
- Costa de la Luz Ltd shall not be held liable or responsible for the actions of other persons or companies or firms operating in Spain with which it may be associated or have connections
- Countryside building plots - The local authority in Spain require minimum plot sizes before allowing construction. This varies from area to area. Building plots described on the Costa de la Luz Ltd website and promotional material comply with the minimum plot size requirements at the time of going to press. These requirements are subject to change and it remains the responsibility of purchasers of plots of land to acquire all necessary planning consents and licences
- Any disputes regarding contracts entered into in Spain shall be resolved according to Spanish law
- Insurance. When visiting Spain it is advisable to arrange suitable comprehensive insurance cover. Costa de la Luz Ltd accepts no liability whatsoever for losses, damages, compensation or personal injury resulting from a viewing trip to Spain
- Clients are advised that whilst every attempt is made to hold a property on a 'refundable deposit', depending on the length of time purchasers take to view, we cannot guarantee any individual property or price. However, any client who does not want to proceed will have their deposits refunded in full
