The Resort
La Barrosa is a small holiday resort, about 8 kms from the town of Chiclana. It has a long sandy beach, which has been awarded the European Blue Flag; it is a wide shallow beach, safe for children. From June to September, ‘chiringuitos’, beach bars are erected on the beach itself. Along the sea front, there is a promenade with restaurants and bars and parallel with the beach, just 100m back is the main street with shops, banks and services. The accommodation here consists mainly of low-rise apartment complexes and villas set amongst the native umbrella pines.
The Apartment (Ref. LB2)
This is a recently modernised and newly furbished 2nd floor apartment, just 100m from the beach of La Barrosa. It has a South-facing terrace looking out over pine trees towards the sea. Above, there is a large roof terrace used for hanging washing. It has spectacular views out to sea and inland towards the pinewoods. The apartment has a twin and a double bedroom, each with wardrobes and bedside tables. Bedroom one has an en-suite shower room with washbasin and WC. There is a second bathroom also with shower, WC and washbasin. The brand new kitchen is equipped with a range of appliance and plenty of crockery and utensils. The open-plan living area is spacious with a dining area, furnished with dining table and chairs and a lounge area which is comfortable and furnished with settees,
coffee table and wall unit with cd player/radio and tv, and video player.
There is a small library of books, videos and cd’s. The satellite provides a range of BBC and English-language channels.
The development is set in spacious, secure, enclosed gardens with a large communal swimming pool, which is supervised by a lifeguard. The pool is open from June to September. Permanent staff maintains the grounds. Car parking spaces are also located within the grounds and are accessed via an electric gate.

Amenities
La Barrosa beach is just 100m from the apartment. The beach has a pleasant promenade with bars and restaurants.
The main street is a couple of minutes walk behind the complex. There are seafood restaurants, ice cream parlours, bars and a range of services and banks along this road, all within easy walking distance.
The town centre of Chiclana is about 8 kms away. This is a traditional Spanish town with a bustling, covered market and a range of small shops. There is a large Supersol supermarket on the outskirts of the town. An open-air market takes place every Tuesday morning near the blue bridge close to the town centre.
