Loved the local culture/lifestyle :

a) the seafood

b) La Barrosa on a busy Easter weekend

c) The history (deserted fishing homes) in the calm of old Sancti Petri

d) Semana Santa parade in Chiclana

e) The ' buzz' of Cádiz and the views from the Cathedral etc

The best parts of or stay (apart from relaxing by the pool) were visits to Cádiz, Jerez and Vejer and the great local beach.

We came to see the horses of the region and were not disappointed, but there is much more we would like to do

We loved our stay in La Barrosa. Great to have the 'ocean walks' so near.

The Service

Booking was a 'no hassle', friendly transaction with excellent information given to all queries made.

An excellent friendly service. Queries that we made were dealt with very promptly.

Quick responses to emails

Given the short notice nature of my booking, I thought it was handled excellently.

Great that we got a new cot and high chair.

Website - all the information and pictures were exactly as we found the villa to be.

LB1 - Villa Joya - La Barrosa

Your villa was bigger than expected which was great for 2 families. It was also very well-equippped.

Great holiday in a fabulous villa! Also found it great value for money.

The hints and tips book was a great ides and helpful. We have left our comments in the book which are very positive!

Everything there that was needed. Due to time of year (February) a little chilly at night but extra blankets and heaters sorted this.

The local bar and shop are very useful. The villa was nice and clean upon arrival.

LB2 - Apartment at La Barrosa

Small things matter. We arrived late on Saturday evening, and there was basic foodstuffs supplied for breakfast. We appreciated this.

Kitchen was excellent and property was generally comfortable and clean.

Pleasant, sunny, clean and well-equipped. Lovely stay - all well handled from the beginning.

The apartment was great. Everything like new - a pleasure to live in.

LB3 - Villa Pilar - La Barrosa

We had a wonderful time. The villa, pool and garden were fantastic.

The villa had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday.

Delightful villa - no complaints.

LB4 - Villa Verde - La Barrosa

Fabulous villa, great location 15-20 minutes walk to beach and restaurants. Everything in full working order and very clean. Will definitely stay again.

A great villa. Facilities were plentiful as described.

The location was perfect for us as we wanted a quiet time.

Great for two families sharing or extended family.

A great family house with lots of facilities and good value.

Kitchen and overall villa excellent. Very clean and well-presented. Great to have some dvd's and a box  of teabags!

LB5 - Casa de la Musica - El Sotillo

Fantastic. Clean, comfortable. A home from home.

Sheila and Dennis were excellent. They were splendid 'hosts' - very attentive and exceptionally helpful if any problem developed in the villa.

NSP2 - Casa Teresa Villa at Novo Sancti Petri

Very happy with service and quality of accommodation.

Website pictures were fantastic and gave a real feel of what to expect when we arrived.

The location was nice and quiet, just what we needed for a relaxing holiday and within easy reach of all amenities.

The furnishings were clean and we were really pleased with the amount of cleaning products available in the villa.

NSP3 - La Sirena Pequeña Villa at Novo Sancti Petri

We were able to book at relatively short notice and the villa was ready when we arrived. It was reassuring to be able to contact the owner if need be.

AC1 - ALDEA DEL COTO APARTMENT

The apartment was spotless and very well-equipped. New bedding had been provided and there was an abundance of bedding and towels if needed.

RO-ARLO – PINAR DE LOS FRANCESES

We enjoyed it so much we are going to buy a property there ourselves. It's all you need for a relaxing holiday.

Sandra was very friendly and helpful.
