1. Villa Rentals on the Costa de la Luz

The Costa de la Luz is a delightful place to take a holiday. It is less busy, less developed and less congested than the other Costas in Spain. It is also a little cooler due to the influence of the Atlantic breezes. The coastline extends from Ayamonte, on the Portuguese border to Tarifa in the South and consists of a series of long golden beaches.

We are based in the Cádiz region, an hour south of Sevilla, and have rental properties in Chiclana, El Puerto de Santa María, La Barrosa and Novo Sancti Petri.

Chiclana de la Frontera is about 15 kilometres south of Cádiz. It is another old town, which has two small resorts, La Barrosa and Novo Sancti Petri, where you can enjoy excellent beaches, the golf course, riding school and water sports.

El Puerto de Santa María is on the bay of Cádiz and has 8 beaches. It is a traditional Spanish fishing port with a lively bustling town centre and a plethora of bars and restaurants.

This area is an excellent holiday base. In addition to sun, beaches and holiday activities, there are also lots of interesting places to visit. The towns of Sevilla, Jerez, Arcos, Cádiz are all within an easy distance. As are the Grazalema National Park, the Pueblos Blancos, the Doñana National Park and Gibraltar.

You will also experience a different environment. This is a traditional Andalucian area where you can learn about the Spanish way of life and enjoy the food, wine, fiestas and friendly atmosphere.

Villa Verde - La Barrosa

This spacious, new 4-bedroom villa is located in the quiet residential district of Cerromolino, just a few minutes drive from the beach at La Barrosa.

The area is populated with private villas and as you approach, you will see the salt marshes of the Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park, bordered with pine trees. More details .....
Getting to the Costa de la Luz

It's easy to get to the Cádiz province - an excellent network of motorways links the area with several major airports:

Jerez: 45 minutes
Gibraltar: 1 hour
Sevilla: 1.5 hours
Málaga: 2hrs 10 minutes

From Málaga the route is an an easy drive of just over 2 hours, as it is motorway nearly all the way. The toll motorway goes to Los Barrios, where it joins the new motorway to Jerez. This is an excellent road, for it avoids much of the heavy traffic that goes to the bigger towns. This route also gives quick & easy access to Gibraltar.
